This teacher training is designed by our wonderful Eva Werner, to empower yoga teachers and movement enthusiasts with the tools to create sustainable, strength-focused practices. In today’s yoga world, passive flexibility often takes center stage, but true longevity comes from balancing mobility with stability and cultivating functional strength.

Curriculum

This course includes a full Anatomy review where we’ll look at alignment, stability, mobility and sustainable movement:

  • Core Stability for Strength and Support

    • Exercises to activate and strengthen the core for sustainable movement.

  • Upper Limb & Healthy Shoulders

    • Exercises for shoulder mobility, strength, and alignment.

  • Lower Limb & Stable Legs

    • Techniques for building strength and balance from the ground up.

      We will also look at Common Postural Issues, understanding and addressing key postural challenges for improved movement and reduced injury risk. We’ll also take time to address some commonly held beliefs about yoga practice, offering a fresh perspective grounded in practical experience and modern movement science (debunking some physical “Yoga Myths”) and also address Hypermobility within the Yoga practice and what kind of impact it has on the body.

The course will run in our Rejskova studio over a full weekend:

Who is Eva?

Eva Werner is a physio-fitness trainer and yoga teacher who is passionate about helping people move effectively and safely.

She teaches Strength and Mobility classes at Prague Yoga Collective and works as a physio-fitness trainer at the Centre of Movement Medicine. Eva draws significant inspiration from Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilisation (DNS), a method that played a key role in her personal recovery journey.

She believes in the power of quality over quantity, with alignment being the foundation of every movement.

Her guiding principle is simple yet profound: "10 seconds in a perfect tabletop position is a bigger achievement than 1 second in a banana-shaped handstand."
